Notebook: Dave Canales hopeful on some injuries, new pass rusher
Seahawks expect to get some injured players back at practice this week
RENTON, Wash. — Seahawks offensive coordinator Dave Canales said Monday that the team is hopeful of getting some injured players back at practice this week, including wide receiver Dee Eskridge, running back Ken Walker III and tight end Noah Fant.
Eskridge has been out since Week 1 with a hamstring injury, while Walker has missed the last two games with an ankle injury. Fant has been out since Week 4 with a knee injury.
Canales said the Seahawks are also expecting to sign a new pass rusher this week
The Seahawks have been looking to add a pass rusher since trading away Carlos Dunlap to the Kansas City Chiefs last week.
Canales said the team has been working out several players and is expected to sign one this week.
The Seahawks are hoping to get some of their injured players back this week
The Seahawks are 2-3 this season and are coming off a 27-23 loss to the New Orleans Saints.
They will host the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday.
